About the course

The course will help you acquire a multidisciplinary approach to understanding and solving contemporary public health and health promotion challenges. You will obtain advanced knowledge of related areas including global public health policy, behaviour change, epidemiology, health economics and research skills.

This fully online course has an active learning and research-led approach and gives you the opportunity to study with Brunel from anywhere in the world.

Online Study

Studying online gives you the opportunity to earn an internationally recognised UK master’s degree without leaving your home. You are not obliged to attend campus lectures, meaning you can watch them on the online platform at times that work for you. During your studies, you’ll have access to:

Accreditation

The curriculum of Brunel’s Master of Public Health (MPH) online is validated by Agency for Public Health Education Accreditation (APHEA).

Entry Requirements

A 2:2 (or above) UK Honours degree, or equivalent internationally recognised qualification in a subject such as health promotion, public health, allied health, health-related studies, social sciences, biosciences, sport science, and environmental health. Non-native speakers of English need either of the following:

  • IELTS: 6.5 (min 6 in all areas)
  • Pearson: 58 (51 in all sub scores)
  • BrunELT: 65% (min 60% in all areas)
  • TOEFL: 92 (min 20 in all)

Offers & Discounts – Scholarships

A range of scholarships are available for students studying online programmes at Brunel. In addition to scholarship opportunities, a discount is available to self-funding students who pay the full amount of the fees due at or before their scheduled date of registration. This discount is 2% on the net course fee due, meaning that this 2% will be applied after any other discounts to which they may be entitled. No application is required for the Early Payment Discount.
